Hi, thank you for taking the time to check out my website. My name is Michael Steede but I go by Mic. I am currently doing all types of photography including sports photography, seniors, families, kids, newborn, engagement, and wedding photos for the Northern Illinois area.

I‘ve been married to my wife Nicole since 1997 and we have 2 wonderful children, Antonio and McKenna. I take a lot of pride in my family and that is how I entered the world of photography. I started out taking sports action photos of my son playing football and basketball. I still have a big passion for taking shots of my kids but I have expanded to taking shots of just about anything. I love being behind the camera.

In the past couple years I have really stepped it up when it comes to my photography. I’m continuing to learn through photography courses, reading books from photographers, and also trial and error. Whenever I have free time, I’ll go for a walk with my gear and take shots. When I’m done I will go home and analyze how the photos turned out.

I have many requests for going to people’s homes to do studio shoots. This makes it very convenient for them especially if they have children. I haven’t done any type of shoot that I haven’t enjoyed. I try to exceed the expectations of my clients.
